Freyja is proud to be a part of the Sustainable Beauty movement. In 2021, we took our commitment to reducing our environmental impact a step further. We continue to work with Green Circle Salons, an organization that collects, recycles, repurposes, and recovers up to 95 percent of the resources we use. More recently, Salon Freyja became the first in Montreal to participate in a pilot program where we completely offset our CO2 emissions – making us Carbon Neutral Certified! This means that we now calculate our hydroelectric output, how we get to work, as well as any other energy outputs, and have our emissions offset by ClimatePartner through their clean water programs. Our commitment to the environment extends to the product we carry – that’s why we love Italian hair care brand, Davines. Davines offers products that harmonize both science and nature, and encourages people to be mindful of their well being, and that of the world around them. Since 2006, Davines has embarked on a path to reduce and compensate for its CO2 emissions, and supports various other projects that are globally conscience, including within the slow food movement.
